RYDER CUP

The 41th anniversary Ryder Cup Matches will return Stateside and be held at the Hazeltine National Golf Club , September 27 – October 2, 2016. This will be a special year for the event as the PGA of America will be marking its centennial and golf returns to the Olympics Games in Brazil.


Hazeltine National Golf Club was founded by Totton Heffelfinger, a former president of the USGA.

Hazeltine has been ranked as one of the top courses in the U.S. where rich heritage and modern luxury come together like no other. Founded in 1962, the course is set in beautiful natural surroundings where prairie meets woodland and has hosted the 1970 & 1991 U.S. Opens and the 2002 PGA Championship.

Sample Itinerary – Prices starting at $3,200 per person

Day 1: Arrive today at the Ryder Cup. Transfer by taxi (own arrangements) to your hotel, which will be your base for the next five nights. This afternoon spend the day sightseeing.
Day 2: This morning you can attend the practice round and after lunch (not included) attend the grand Opening Ceremony.
Day 3: This morning you will attend the foursome matches (alternative shot) and after lunch view the four-ball matches (best ball).
Day 4: Today you will see a rematch of yesterday’s format with both foursomes and four-ball matches both hotly contested.
Day 5: Enjoy the final day of the competition, which features 12 single matches. Attend the Closing Ceremony where the Ryder Cup will be presented to the victorious team.
Day 6: Depart today for your return home.

    2018 Ryder Cup
    France will host The Ryder Cup for the first time in 2018, which will see golf’s greatest team event return to the Continent of Europe for the first time in 21 years. The 42nd edition of the Ryder Cup Matches will be hosted at the Le Golf National (pictured above) on the outskirts of Versailles near Paris, home of the Alstom Open de France.


    2020 Ryder Cup
    The 43rd anniversary Ryder Cup Matches will be hosted at Whistling Straits (pictured above). A masterpiece in the world of golf created by Pete Dye, the Straits course at Whistling Straits Open is on rugged and windswept terrain that defines links golf. The world class course was awarded the 2004 PGA just two years after it opened, there is over thousand bunkers, 20- to 40-foot cliffs and greens that roll like the Himalayas.

    2022 Ryder Cup
    The 44th anniversary Ryder Cup Matches will be hosted in Europe but the venue is yet to be decided upon. Details will be added once the announcement is made.


    2024 Ryder Cup
    The Bethpage Black Course (pictured above) on Long Island, New York, will host the 45th anniversary Ryder Cup matches. In 2002 the Black Course became the first publicly owned and operated course to host the U.S. Open, which returned again in 2009. The course was designed by noted golf architect A.W. Tillinghast and opened in 1936. During the 2002 U.S. Open Phil Mickelson commended the New York golf fans and suggested a Ryder Cup should be played at Bethpage Black because, “We would have a big advantage.”
