GOLF COURSES

THANA CITY GC: Thana City Golf Club is just located 30 minutes from downtown Bangkok and was designed by Greg Norman. Over the years the course has hosted several major professional tournaments including the Thailand Open. The course layout is enhanced by natural streams, lakes and an abundance of strategically-placed sculptured sand traps.

SUWAN CC: Suwan CC has already won several best in Asia awards despite being opened only a few years. In 2009 and again in 2010 the Asian Tour International tournament was held here and it also was the venue for the prestigious Thailand Open. The golf course’s hilly and challenging layout makes every hole have its own unique character.

THAI CC: Thai County is often considered the best course in Bangkok and was designed by Denis Griffiths, opening in December 1996. It has hosted the Asian Honda Classic won by Tiger Woods and the 2007 and 2008 Volvo Masters. With its immaculate presentation and conditioning, coupled with a very strong and classic parkland layout, Thai Country Club is regularly voted as a Top 5 course in Asia.

SPRINGFIELD ROYAL CC: The Jack Nicklaus designed Springfield Royal Country Club is rated as one of the best golf courses in Hua Hin and the traditional Nicklaus layout is as good as they come. The course will provide an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all standards where water hazards regularly come into play and each hole presents its own individual challenge.

BANYAN GC: Built among a pineapple plantation, Banyan Golf Club in Hua Hin opened in October 2008 and was awarded 2009 Best New Course in Asia Pacific by Asian Golf Monthly. Since then Banyan golf course and clubhouse has consistently claimed ‘Top 3 in Thailand’ awards and been featured in the ‘Rolex Top 1000’ in the World. The course provides spectacular mountain and ocean views from most all of the holes and is one of the best layouts in the area.

BLACK MOUNTAIN GC: Black Mountain GC was transformed from lush jungle and pineapple plantations and located just next to the “Black Mountain’s”, providing a nice backdrop to many of the holes. In 2012 Black Mountain was selected as one of the 100 best golf courses outside the USA by Golf Digest magazine.

SUMMIT GREEN VALLEY CC: Designed by Dennis Griffiths, the same architect as Thai Country Club in Bangkok, the Summit Green Valley layout is one of the best kept in Chiang Mai. Situated in the lowlands the golf course offers beautiful surroundings with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. With numerous elevation changes and prevailing winds makes Green Valley a tough but fair challenge to golfers of all skill levels.

ALPINE GOLF RESORT: The Alpine Golf Resort (formerly Chiang Mai Lamphun Golf Club) nestles in a valley between the mountain ranges in the heart of the San Kampaeng natural forests. The design of the course was inspired by the magnificent hills in its horizon. No matter where you are on the course, you are sure to enjoy nature at her best.

HIGHLANDS GOLF RESORT: The Chiang Mai Highlands Golf Club was designed by Schmidt-Curley, the same team responsible for many of the Mission Hills’ China layouts. It was quickly voted #3 for “Best New Golf Course in Asia” by Asian Golf Monthly. After the “inviting” 1st hole, the golf course effortlessly flows along, gaining strength, beauty, and character with each passing hole until it’s thrilling, dramatic finish on the unforgettable 18th.

The design of Alpine Golf Resort, by world-famous golf course designer Mr Ron M Garl, was inspired by the magnificent hills in its horizon.
